Face Coverings and Masks
All of our COVID-19 secure measures remain in place and this will not change when Government guidance changes on 19 July 2021.
Patients are asked to continue to wear a face covering, unless they are exempt, and to follow social distancing when visiting our GP Practice.
This follows the national Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Guidance for all healthcare settings and will help to ensure the safety of our staff and patients at all times.
Thank you for your continued support.
Please note: we will NOT be supplying face mask exemption letters for use on public transport and/or in shops and supermarkets.
Please do not send in medical images/pictures to the practice until you have spoken to a clinician. If an image/picture is thought necessary, the doctor or nurse will explain how you do this. This will enable us to make sure your personal data is dealt with appropriately and sensitively.
Retirement of Dr Dina Dhorajiwala and Dr Harry Webb
Dr Dina Dhorajiwala and Dr Harry Webb, who have been with the practice since it was founded in 2006, will be retiring from the partnership in September 2021. Our other partner, Dr Neemisha Tailor, will continue in full time clinical work. Dr Dhorajiwala (who has stopped normal clinical duties from 1.6.21) will continue work in a management role as clinical director for the local Primary Care Network. Dr Webb will continue clinical work until early September this year.
Since it was set up in 2006, the Vale Practice has grown from some 2000 patients to its current size of over 11,000. We would like to thank our patients, clinicians and administrative staff for their help and support over the years, without which this success would not have been possible.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude specifically for the time and effort many of you gave to the practice in various ways over the years. This includes support for our patient participation group as well as the donation of artwork, help with practice design and the gift of furniture, which we hope will continue to be appreciated in future by patients and staff alike.
We regard it as an honour and a privilege to have worked with you as your clinicians over the last 15 years. We shall always treasure these memories.
With thanks and best wishes,
Dr Dina Dhorajiwala and Dr Harry Webb
